Warning to temporary disable Java due to security risk

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security advises computer users to temporarily disable the Java software on computers to avoid possible hacking attempts.

It is easy to protect your CPU by simply disabling the plug-in on your internet browser rather than uninstalling it.  Doing so, your internet browser should prompt you (pop-up message) and you can choose to enable on that particular website or not (if you trust it).  You can disable this feature by opening your browser and going to: Tools – Internet Options – Programs – Manage Add-Ons and you can simply disable any Java add-ons.
